Church Ministries
Scripture Readers - The Old Testament lesson and Epistle (Biblical letters to the church) reading is done by deacons in the Sunday & Holiday worship service.
Alter Preparation - Ministry Leader: Carol Owen; Flowers, altar linens, candles, communion service and the bread and wine are prepared, set out, and cleaned by volunteers for all services.
Sunday School - Ministry Leader: Deaconess Helen Stone. During the school year on Sunday mornings from the scripture readings until communion, children in K through 2nd grade are taught a prepared bible lesson. In the summer, volunteers organize an outdoor activity for pre-school and up during this period of time in the service . helenstone@trinitycovenant.net
Nursery - Ministry Leader: Maggi Colon; Childcare is available on Sunday mornings and during all special meetings & events.
Bible Study - Pastor Thom leads Bible Study on Wednesday evenings in his home September through June. Our time begins with prayer then Bible Study and coffee until 8:30pm. On Wednesdays, when we are ministering to the college students at BSC's Christian Fellowship dinner, there is no Bible Study. See below.
Ladies Bible Study - Ministry Leader Maggi Colon leads book study on Friday's at 10:30am until 12noon year round. Childcare is provided. We are currently working through the New Testament. maggi@trinitycovenant.net
Maintenance - Deacon Ralph Stone coordinates cleaning and maintenance volunteers indoors and out.
Hospitality - During the year we have occasional fellowship pot-luck dinners on Sunday afternoon. Special occasions are also celebrated which requires the organization and food preparation. Sunday Coffee Hour is covered by volunteers every Sunday. One of our biggest events is the Celebrate Christmas event put on for the community of Bridgewater the second Sunday evening in December annually.

Greater Bridgewater Evangelical Clergy Association

through our Pastor, Rev. Thom Bergeron, is one of the founding members
of the Greater Bridgewater Evangelical Clergy Association. The Greater Bridgewater Evangelical Clergy Association (GBECA)
are clergy from local evangelical churches who have joined together in
their common beliefs in the Trinity of the Godhead, the Lordship of
Christ, the authority of the Bible, and the lostness of humanity apart from
faith in Jesus Christ.
Community Ministries
Outreach - Ministry Leader Terri Smith-Pena coordinates community outreach events.
Covenant Sanctuary Studio - The mission of Covenant Sanctuary Studio is to provide a place for all to explore their individual creativity, which is at the core of each one's authentic self. The studio is located at the church and is open every Monday from 11-4pm and 6-9pm. All are welcome to come and bring their own project or learn a new art or craft with our studio supplies. Basic arts and crafts instruction is offered the first and third Monday of the month.
BSC Christian Fellowship Dinner - Every third Wednesday of each month Trinity Covenant Church serves dinner to the student Christian Fellowship of Bridgewater State College. We generally have a great time chatting, serving and eating with these young adults who look forward to a homemade dinner. Consult the Church Calendar
Celebrate Christmas! - This is our annual contemporary Christmas musical event for the people of Bridgewater and the surrounding community. It is always scheduled for the second Sunday evening in December at 6pm.
